Now operate affiliate airlines in Thailand (Thai Air Asia), and Indonesia (Indonesia Air Asia), and in April 2010 commencing operations in Vietnam (Vietnam Air Asia).

2010/2011 - Air Asia X will be expanding route network to major ports in India, Sydney Australia, Haneda Japan, and increasing services to London, England. Also recently suspended operations to Abu Dhabi, UAE due to low demand.

Excellent company to work for and beautiful, progressive city to live in; Kuala Lumpur is modern, comfortable, and very affordable.

Flight Duties usually 6-7 'flight-hour' days; and you can expect monthly rosters of between 85-90 hours. For every 5 days of leave taken, pilots receive 2 days around the leave; meaning 7 days off for 5 days leave, 14 days off for 10 days leave, and 21 days off for 15 days leave taken.

Company expanding and hiring A320 Direct Entry Captains (Expat & ASEAN DECs) throughout 2010; Kuala Lumpur and soon Vietnam Basings.

Minimum Requirements for DEC Captain:

* 6000+ hours Total Time
* ICAO FAA JAA ATPL / Class 1 Medical
* Type Rated/Experienced Preferred
* ASEAN Citizens welcomed
