Min 2500hrs, hire almost entirely from link carriers, most have 3000-3500hrs. Interview is based on a point system.

NOTE: ANZ has interviewed and placed a number of pilots in a 'YES' Hold Pool. Current "yes" pool candidates have been told will be another year approximately (Jan 2012) until they are taken into Air New Zealand.
