Employer Notes

Most of our flight crewmembers start as a "Bird Dog" pilot or in the right seat of an airtanker.

Because of the nature of our work, Conair requires a minimum of 2500 Hours P.I.C. Additionally we require 500 hours P.I.C. Multi-Engine, a Canadian ATPL and a valid Group 1 Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.

NOTE: We look for pilots that have three to four thousand hours with related experience, such as low level, bush, float and tailwheel flying. We also find that experience in mountain flying is desirable.
