General Pilot Training / Flight School information for Canada
With many airports in close proximity to the United States, some Canadian Pilot Training Organizations have been accepted by the FAA to provide Training and Flight Exams on behalf of the FAA. Now pilots looking to tap into the huge US Market (Almost all Pilot Jobs in the USA require a valid US Green Card Work permit as a minimum requirement) can get an FAA Medical and FAA Licence within Canada. Please note though - that although you will take off from a Canadian aerodrome, your Flight Test will be completed in US Airspace, and your FAA Flight Test Examiner will be FAA Certified and from the US.
