Copa Holdings, Latin American provider of passenger and cargo services, released preliminary passenger traffic statistics for June 2017, revealing the revenue passenger miles increase from 1,436.7 to 1,648.0 or 14.7% in June 2017 compared to the year 2016.
For the month of June 2017, Copa Holdings' capacity (available seat miles) increased 13.3% and, as a result, system load factor for the month was 82.2%, a 1.0 percentage point increase when compared to June 2016.
In this year to date, the revenue passenger miles increased by 12% (from 8, 484.3 to 9,506.6) and the available seat miles increased by 6.4% (from 10, 902.8 to 11,602.5). The load factor grew by 4.1 percentage point from 77.8% to 81.9%.
Copa Holdings, through its operating subsidiaries, provides service to 75 destinations in 31 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean with its fleets of 101 aircraft: 80 Boeing 737NG aircraft and 21 EMBRAER-190s.
