Pilot Job Details
Requirements • FAA CFI or above ratings for flight and ground instructors
• FAA Class II Medical (flight)

• Strong presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment
• Must have a legal means to work in the US, and pass a background security check

• Must be able to work in the US legally.
• No current pilot violations or accidents.
• Must have a valid medical without restrictions.

• Must have minimum of ICAO level 4 English proficiency.
* Must hold FAA Professional Pilot License / Medical.
* Must be legally entitled to live and work in the USA.
Notes American Aviation Academy (AAA) located at Gillespie field in El Cajon (San Diego), California is seeking certified flight instructors. AAA provides a clear pathway to becoming a professional pilot in the growing airline industry.  "Having partnerships with GoJet and SkyWest, Your airline career path is practically assured".

AAA provides FAA Part 141/61 training including PPL, IR, CPL, CFI, CFII, and MEI. We are also approved by EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) as a standalone ATO. 120-160 instructional hours a month possible for motivated instructors. Between 80 to 120 hours dual flight each month. . Our web site is www.flyaaa.com


General Duties:

• Provide an educational experience where each student has the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual and emotional growth.
• Prepare and implement activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
• Conduct proactive and reactive student outreach regularly to ensure student's success.
• Provide individualized and timely feedback on student assessments.
• Provide regular feedback to Chief of Flight Operations on student progress or opportunities.


Minimum Qualifications:

• CFI or above ratings for flight and ground instructors plus FAA Class II Medical (flight)
• Strong presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment
