Grant Aviation is an Alaska-owned Regional Air Carrier operating under FAA Part 135 serving rural Alaska since 1971.
Grant currently operates 26 aircraft, maintaining bases of operations in Bethel, Emmonak, Dillingham, King Salmon, Cold Bay, Dutch Harbor, Kenai, and Anchorage Alaska. Grant provides scheduled air transport of passengers, cargo and mail, as well as providing air ambulance and aircraft charter service on demand. Grant currently employs approximately 200 individuals, with the majority being Native Alaskan residing in our market hubs or the surrounding village communities. In the past decade, ridership has grown from 40,000 to more than 130,000 passengers annually. Transport of U.S. Mail has increased from 3 million to over 8 million pounds transported annually during the same period.
Grant is looking for Pilots to fill some Pilot in Command positions who will report to the Chief Pilot. General operational duty requirements include:
• The Pilot in Command has command of, and the responsibility for, the flight crew, passengers, cargo, the safe conduct of the flight, and provides guidance and coordinate the activities of every individual connected with all phases of the aircraft operation.
• Operate aircraft in compliance with the FAR’s at all times.
• Pilots are team members with all other operational departments and are expected to present a professional image at all times.
• Assumes other duties as may be assigned including loading and unloading plane.
All candidates must be willing to work in the Alaska Bush year round on a schedule offering 15 consecutive days on and 15 consecutive days off. Transportation and housing is provided. Alaska flight time is preferred.
